Phish Announce Summer Tour 2011 - Phish just announced their highly anticipated summer tour, exciting fans who have rushed to the band’s official website, causing it to crash under the extreme traffic. The 18-show extravaganza kicks off on May 27th in Bethel, NY and heads down south, wrapping up on June 19th in Portsmouth, VA. Rumors have swirled for weeks that the band will play a three-day festival over July 4th in Watkins Glen, NY, but left fans disappointed when they did not announce the concerts today. Still there is hope and speculation that the band will announce the second leg of the tour at a later date.
Fans can submit a request for Phish tickets through the band’s lottery system starting today.
